Commercial offer
Three ways to buy the work, each with a written fee.
Natalia Cerednicenco sells compliance consulting in three shapes: a diagnostic, a program build, and a retainer. This page is the offer. A contract is formed only when you accept a written proposal that names the scope, the fee, and the currency. The site does not take card payments and does not show a universal price, because a price without a scope would be a guess.
01
Diagnostic
A fixed-scope review that ends in written findings and a priority list.
Included
- One scoping conversation and a written proposal before work starts.
- Review of the documents listed in the proposal, within the agreed limit.
- Up to four interviews of about 45 minutes with people you nominate.
- A findings note: what matches, what does not, and what to ask counsel.
- One review call of up to one hour after you have read the note.
Not included
- Drafting a full policy set. That is a program build.
- A second business line, travel, or an on-site visit.
- A legal opinion, a licence application, or an assurance letter.
Timing and fee
Usually two to three weeks after the documents arrive. The fee is a fixed amount in the proposal. It does not rise because the findings are uncomfortable. It changes only if you change the scope in writing.
02
Program build
The documents, the roles, and a handover, for topics the diagnostic or the proposal has already defined.
Included
- Use of a recent diagnostic, or a short confirmation if the facts are already clear.
- Draft policies and procedures for the agreed topics. See the service index for what each topic contains.
- A risk register, a role note, and a review calendar.
- Two rounds of consolidated written comments.
- One handover session and an open-items list.
Not included
- Translation, intranet build, or software configuration.
- Briefing every employee. A briefing can be added as its own line.
- Monitoring the business after handover. That is the retainer.
Timing and fee
Usually four to eight weeks, depending on how quickly comments return. The fee is a project amount. Unless the proposal sets another schedule, half is invoiced on written acceptance and half on handover. Work already completed remains payable if you stop the project.
03
Retainer
A monthly allotment of hours for questions, review of your drafts, and a short open-items note.
Included
- A named hour cap per month.
- Written answers inside the response window stated in the proposal.
- Light review of drafts you send, counted against the cap.
- A monthly note of what was asked and what remains open.
Not included
- Unused hours carried into the next month, unless the proposal says so.
- A new policy suite. That is quoted as a project.
- Incident response, investigations, or an on-call emergency line.
Timing and fee
Invoiced monthly in advance. Either party may end the retainer with 30 days’ written notice. Hours already used in the notice period are payable. We do not charge a success fee tied to a regulator’s, bank’s, or partner’s decision.
In every engagement
Terms that do not change with the shape
Always included
- A written scope before drafting.
- English-language deliverables.
- Marked assumptions and questions for other advisers.
- Files you can edit after the related invoice is paid.
Never included
- Legal, tax, or accounting advice. Read the disclaimer.
- Court work or representation before an authority.
- Backdated records or inflated descriptions of controls.
- Payment collected on this website.
How to accept, pay, and stop
Ask for a proposal through the briefing form. After the scoping conversation we email the proposal. Accept it by a reply that says you accept, from a person allowed to commit the organisation. Work starts when that acceptance is received and the invoice schedule in the proposal is clear.
Invoices state the currency. We commonly agree EUR or MDL in the proposal. Expenses are not charged unless you have agreed them in writing beforehand. We do not ask for payment card details by email.
You may stop a project by written notice. We stop work, invoice for the portion described in the proposal, and hand over what has been completed once that invoice is paid. A retainer ends on 30 days’ notice, as stated above. The terms of use govern the website. The proposal governs the paid work and prevails if the two differ on fees or scope.
The method, week by week, is described on the method page.
